Chris led all scorers with 28 points, while Jesus contributed 16 points on hot shooting from three-point range. Academy-North survives nail-biter against Forest View Academy
posted Feb 11, 2011 3:06 PM by Alex BernsteinAcademy-North barely escaped with a victory against arch-rival Forest View on Friday. As time expire a final shot by Forest View banged off the back of the rim giving the Bulldogs the slimmest of victories 54-52. Chris was an unstoppable force, leading all scorers with 48 points. Curtis also contributed on both ends of the floor and chipped in with six points. Antonio and Junior were defensive forces- Antonio's hustle was without equal in the contest, and Junior had four blocked shots. However the real star of the afternoon was Ashley, who as a former student of Forest-View, had a homecoming and received a huge welcome from former classmates and teachers.
